Robert Bartleh Cummings. better known as Rob Zombie, was the founder, lead singer, and songwriter for White Zombie, Zombie has also established himself as a solo artist in more recent years.

“Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)” is a promotional single off Rob Zombie’s second album The Sinister Urge. The song can also be found on Rob Zombie’s Past, Present & Future and the greatest hits album The Best of Rob Zombie. The song is based on Anthony Burgess’ classic 1962 novel, A Clockwork Orange. The phrase ‘red red kroovy’ is a quote from the book which is used by Alex DeLarge meaning ‘Red red blood’ (”kroovy”, correctly “krov’”, means “blood” in Ukrainian). The lyrics contain the phrases “See heaven, flash, a horrorshow…” and “…take me to the home…” which both are references to the book. The remix of the song, The Black Cat Crossing Mix, was included on “WWE Forceable Entry” and an edited version with shorter intro and “You think you know me” added to the beginning was briefly used as WWE Superstar Edge’s entrance theme. Also, it was included on the soundtrack to the movie Rollerball in 2002 and it was also featured in the movie Walking Tall. The song was nominated the Grammy for Best Metal Performance for the 2002 Grammy Awards Ceremony.

In the music video for “Never Gonna Stop”, Rob is dressed as Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange. Additionally, the reference to driving a “Durango 95″ is from the bookA Clockwork Orange, specifically a car stolen by Alex DeLarge. Also, the actor Tom Towles, who played Lieutenant George Wydell in Rob Zombie’s film House of 1000 Corpses, appears in the video from time to time.
