The Black Crowes are an American rock and roll band
The first incarnation of The Black Crowes began in 1984 as “Mr. Crowes Garden” in Atlanta, Georgia a revivalist band dedicated to celebrating and playing 1970s-era blues-rock. Although the Crowes have had a disturbingly high turnover rate throughout their history, the driving force behind the band has always been brothers Chris & Rich Robinson. In 1989, the band, who have been heavily influenced by, and indebted to, The Rolling Stones, The Faces and Humble Pie, made a demo cassette tape that got them signed with American Recordings.
She never mentions the word addiction
In certain company
Yes, she’ll tell you she’s an orphan
After you meet her familyShe paints her eyes as black as night now,
Pulls those shades down tight
Yes, she gives a smile when the pain comes,
The pain gonna make everything alrightSays, she talks to angels,
They call her out by her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels,
Says they call her out by her nameShe keeps a lock of hair in her pocket
She wears a cross around her neck
Yes, the hair is from a little boy,
And the cross is someone she has not met, not yetSays she talks to angels,
Says they all know her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels,
Says they call her out by her nameShe don’t know no lover,
None that I ever seen,
And to her that ain’t nothing
But to me, It means, means everything. She paints those eyes as black as night now
She pulls those shades down tight
Oh yeah, there a smile when the pain comes,
The pain gonna make everything alright, alright yeahShe talks to angels,
Says they call her out her name
Oh yeah-eah-eah, angels
Call her out by her name
Oh-ooh-oh-oh, angels
They call her out by her name
Oh-oh, She talks to angels
They call her out
Yeah-eah-eah, call her out
Don’t you know that they call her out by her name?

I have gotten a few requests from people who want to donate money to keep this site up and running. While it feels really strange for me to accept money for what is essentially a hobby for me, I guess I could always accept help in paying for the ever-increasing hosting costs.
So if you like what you see here, feel free to add to my "tip jar".
