Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On) ~ Robert Plant and Alison Krauss  

Robert Plant is an English rock singer and songwriter, famous for his membership in the English rock band Led Zeppelin as the lead vocalist, as well as for his successful solo career. He recently released a folk based album with folk singer Alison Krauss.

Alison Krauss is an American bluegrass-country singer and fiddle player. She entered the music industry at a young age, winning local contests by the age of ten and recording for the first time at fourteen.  She was invited to join the band with which she still performs, Alison Krauss + Union Station (AKUS), and later released her first album with them as a group in 1989.

I’ll Fly Away ~ Alison Krauss  

Alison Krauss is an American bluegrass singer and fiddle player who has been in the music industry since she was ten years old. She was invited to join the band, Union Station (now Alison Krauss and Union Station) in 1987 and recorded their first album in 1989.

Alison has appeared on numerous soundtracks and has helped usher in a new interest in bluegrass music in the United States.  She has appeared on the Grammy-winning O Brother, Where Art Thou? and on the Cold Mountain soundtracks.

I’ll Fly Away

One of the three songs she performed on the O Brother, Where Art Thou soundtrack. This one she shared vocals and harmony with Gillian Welch to perform a traditional bluegrass/gospel song.  When I go, this is the song that will be on my soul…
