Two separate versions:

Both of these are songs protesting the government’s lies and coverups.  The first version is was a protest against a historical event involving Winston Churchill and the loss of over 1500 British sailors that has been mired in secrecy and conspiracy for over eighty years.

The second version was re-written a year after the first version as a protest to George W. Bush’s unnecessary wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

When the second version came out, it was almost impossible to find the original version because Chumbawana revoked the license on that version.
